'I think Asetek's brand name is so respected, in no small part, due to their production of quality parts like this one. The Antarctica water block is very easy to install, has great push fittings, and was effective in our testing. Though this is a solid all-round water block it would be perfect for beginners.
The only issue I have with this water block is it is restrictive. This happens because of the way that the top piece is separated from the bottom and the water is sent through small holes or slots. This means a drop in flow rate but that often goes hand in hand with the jet style water inlets of blocks like this. In the end the turbulence and water pressure created by these probably helps the block more than the drop in flow rate hurts it.
For just about any system the Antarctica water block by Asetek would be a good investment.'
