2007
  Industry leader and former Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at AMD, Henri Richard joins Asetek's board of directors .

  Veteran executive in the semiconductor industry, Gary Baum joins Asetek's board of directors.
 

  Asetek announces its first OEM design win with world leading PC manufacturer HP and its Blackbird 002 Gaming PC.  

 

  Asetek signs a research agreement with Professor, Ph. D. Massoud Kaviany from University of Michigan.  

 

  Computex - Asetek LCLC supports the new AMD DTX small form factor platform.   

  Asetek signs a three year manufacturing contract with one of the most respected thermal cooling suppliers in the market; Asia Vital Components (AVC).

 

  CeBIT - A new series of OEM cooling solutions for GPU and CPU is launched receiving great feedback from the press and the industry.


  Asetek receives $4 million in Tranche 2 Series A Venture Capital following the investment of $6 million closed last year. Northzone Ventures, Vaekstfonden, KT Venture Group, and a group of private investors participated in the round.

 

2006 
  Intel Developer Forum - Asetek demonstrates the Low Cost Liquid Cooling solution in a Media Center PC receiving remarkable feedback from the press and potential customers.

 

  Cooperation’s with large OEMs are initiated.

 

  Asetek becomes a thermal management company focusing on OEM/ODM solutions. 

 

  A complete executive management team and  numerous thermal specialists are hired.  

 

  CeBIT - A 5.46 GHz VapoChill cooled PC impresses the press and receives more than 95.000 Google hits. A Low Cost Liquid Cooling OEM/ODM working sample is presented for the first time.   

  The VapoChill and WaterChill product lines have received +200 press awards.

 

  Asetek shows the complete product portfolio at CES in Las Vegas incl. the WaterChill Xternal. 


  KT Venture Group of San Jose, CA joins the $6 million Tranche 1 Series A funding round in the company which also has participation by Northzone Ventures, Vaekstfonden and a group of existing investors. The investment completes the round that had its first closing in December 2005. 

 

 

 

2005 
  Asetek introduces the Worlds' first 12V pump system with integrated reservoir and USB/Software Control Panel.   

  Asetek enters the mainstream cooling market with the introduction of the NEW series of CPU coolers. The coolers are based on the Vapor Chamber Technology and branded as VapoChill Micro.  

  Asetek celebrates yet another remarkable milestone. The WaterChill product line has received more than 130 International Press Awards since 2003.

 

 

 

2004  
  A
setek introduces a new improved version of the VapoChill CPU cooling system. The VapoChill XE II 115V/230V is based on a more powerful compressor and has all the best features from the VapoChill LightSpeed system as well. 
 
  A
setek releases two versions of a new WaterChill hard drive cooler. The WaterChill product line now consists of 20 different water-cooling kits and a long list of components.

setek receives the 'Best Cooling Hardware' Award 2004 from CustomPC magazine, UK.
 
 
  
CeBIT - Asetek introduces the VapoChill LightSpeed CPU cooler with an impressive cooling performance: load/idle 200W @ -25,5'C / 0W @ -48'C.   
 
  Asetek launches two new WaterChill CPU blocks - The Antarctica CPU cooler block for hardcore overclockers and enthusiasts. And a CPU XEON block for professionals [Servers & Workstations].

 

 

 

2003
  Asetek introduces a revolution in server cooling - The VapoChill Case Cooler. The new VapoChill Case Cooler is an air condition system developed for - direct - cooling of mission critical PC and entry level servers.

  CeBIT - Asetek introduces a whole new product line under the brand name WaterChill. A whole new Plug & Chill kit for water cooling incl. CPU-, VGA- & Chipset blocks.

  CeBIT - Asetek join forces with ABIT Computer Corporation, one of the world's leading motherboard  manufactures and Kingston Technology Company, Inc. the world's largest independent manufacturer of memory products. Together they presented the fastest overall performance PC in the world.
 
  The VapoChill CPU cooling system has received more than 15 awards from world leading hardware review-sites and magazines.

  [H]ard|OCP, one of the most respected hardware review-sites achieves a magnificent 4.44GHz CPU speed with a VapoChill CPU cooling system.
 

 

 

 

2002
  
Financial Times praises the VapoChill system to the skies.

 

  After 5 years of existence asetek has both pioneered and become the world leader in the market for vapor phase CPU cooling technology.  

  Since first introduced on the global computer market the VapoChill systems has received an ever-increasing level of industry and end user recognition. 

  Based on a unique and strong technology and an incredible dedicated team effort by the Asetek staff and management the VapoChill system is today positioned as the core technology of the world’s fastest PC systems.

  The commercial proof-of-concept for the VapoChill system in terms of customer value and application functionality is now fully and effectively established.

 

  The VapoChill CPU cooling system becomes a test winner in front of systems from IBM, Dell, HP and Compaq, in the largest Northern European PC magazine, MikroDatorn (11/2002) - in the category: High-end workstations.  

  The NEW generation VapoChill is fully integrated into system integrator Wortmann AG's high-end product line. With an annual turnover of more than 240 million Euro and about 240 highly skilled employees Wortmann AG belongs to one of the largest and most important independent system integrators in Europe.

  The NEW generation VapoChill is introduced to the market.

  The first company to reach the 3 GHz milestone in CPU speeds. In partnership with ASUS the first commercially available 3 GHz workstation was presented at CeBIT. 

  ASUS and Asetek were awarded at
Computex, Taiwan for their contribution to the global IT market.

 

 

 

2001
  In early January Asetek Inc. became the first company in the world to configure a 2 GHz PC.

  Asetek formed formalized business partnership with ASUSTek Computer Inc., the largest manufacturer of motherboards in the world. 

  Introduced the first commercially available PC system running at 2 GHz. Received favourable and enthusiastic review of its product by Dr. Thomas Pabst, of Tom’s Hardware Guide, the leading hardware review site in existence.

 

 

 

2000
  Received an award from the Danish Ministry of Trade and Industry in recognition for being the most innovative and progressive company in Denmark in the year 2000. 

 

 

  Based on a 1 million EUR capital infusion from private investors Asetek became incorporated.

 

 

1999
  The first contact between Asetek and Intel was established. 

 

 

 

1998
  After less that a year of existence Asetek a global network of more than 35 resellers had taken in the VapoChill CPU cooler technology 

 

 

 

1997
