Asetek’s laboratory facilities include an airflow test chamber wind tunnel which provides fan performance evaluation. Typically the purpose of a fan performance test is to determine the aerodynamic characteristics of the fan when combined with our heat exchanger. This way we can pick the best fan for a given application and hand over this information to our customer. 

A bigger airflow through the heat exchanger means a better thermal performance of the Asetek liquid cooling system. Different fans provide different airflow at different noise levels and flow resistance. Because of this the airflow test chamber is an important element in recommending the best suitable fan for our customer’s application.
