
Being a total solution provider, Asetek engages in all the different sciences that are involved in designing a customer specific solution that solves the customers’ thermal, mechanical and acoustic challenges. In order to be successful in our design process we have invested in a lot of technologies and facilities that we - as a service - offer to our customers. By working with Asetek the customer does not need to worry about thermal management as we will take care of that. Our preferred business model is: Engage with the customer as early as possible in the design process For example with a PC manufacturer we would get involved already in the design phase of the chassis. Our typical deliverable is a set of CAD files with all solutions designed in.
Offer our customer complete system thermal management services Instead of just focusing on the performance of our own components we help the customer with all thermal aspects such as system level air flow, thermal management of other components in the system. Our typical deliverable is a set of CFD simulations/calculations that document that everything is within spec.
Offer our customer mechanical design services We help our customers with customer specific design and constructions that meet the customers’ requirements instead of trying to force them to buy a standard solution. Our typical deliverable is a number of full working customer systems that the customer can test and validate in its own lab.
Offer our customer test and validation services Asetek has both the capabilities and facilities to test and validate life time, environmental test, and acoustic tests. When a full working prototype has been made we will test everything from thermal performance of our own components to validating that no other components are over heating or other wise out of spec. Our typical deliverable is a detailed and full documented report that the proposed solution meets the customer's specifications and requirements.
