André Sloth Eriksen CEO / Founder | As a long-term entrepreneur (10 years) and founder of Asetek, André has held basically all positions in the company over the years and thus grown from a young entrepreneur to a professional chief executive with a lot of international experience.
During the life cycle of a startup company, different skills are needed from the top management. André has proven his capabilities throughout this constant change, and from being an expert in cooling he has grown to be a team leader in Asetek. André's key skills include strong marketing, strategic business planning, fund raising, strategic R&D, determination, execution, deal closing and overall team motivation and management. With André behind the steering wheel, Asetek has grown from a tiny startup to a global industry leader within OEM liquid cooling. Prior to founding Asetek, André was employed at Danfoss in their management trainee program. André has a practical education as a tool maker, and holds an engineering degree from Aalborg University. In addition he has taken various executive management programs and an entrepreneurship program at MIT. | 
Gary Baum Sr. VP Sales & Marketing | Gary Baum brings 25 years as a veteran semiconductor industry sales and marketing executive to the Asetek team. Gary is internationally known for his profitable, rapid-growth sales, marketing and business development initiatives. His industry leadership and expertise include semiconductors, notebooks and workstations. He has managed global organizations on four different occasions. Gary’s experience also includes helping companies grow out of their formative stages towards successful ongoing concerns. As a member of the founding team, Gary shaped S3’s Windows graphics accelerator strategy that drove S3 to its successful IPO.
Gary was the creator and director of AMD’s notebook processor business where he drove revenue from zero to over $300M annualized. While at Intel, he lead that company’s CPU field product planning, and drove design win programs such as the Intel “Crush” campaign which resulted in the IBM PC design and standardized the entire PC industry on the X86 CPU architecture. A BSEE graduate of the University of Miami, Gary completed post graduate work in the fields of computer science, marketing and system control theory. Gary holds six patents in the field of CPU system design and is credited with numerous publications and conference proceedings. | | | 
Monem Alyaser VP Business Development | Prior to joining Asetek, Monem was Executive Director of Applied Thermal Technologies, LLC, where he headed the operation of this leading thermal engineering consulting and software firm. Since joining in January 2000, he led Applied's business development including sales of consulting services. He closely worked with thermal hardware manufacturing vendors and suppliers to deliver thermal solutions on the basis of analysis, design and optimization from concept to production. Monem has been involved in cooling solutions for a wide range of well-known consumer electronics products, including generations of the iMac, PowerMac, and laptops and desktops for Apple, HP and Dell. He also managed the design of cooling solutions for countless telecom, networking, power, military, and medical products.
Monem holds a Ph.D. in Metals & Materials Process Engineering, from the University of British Columbia and a B.A.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering from Laurentian University. Monem has taught electronics thermal management courses and is a consultant to venture capital firms and major international corporations.

Ole Madsen VP Engineering | Ole holds wide international experience that encompasses technical, commercial and administrative aspects of managements and leadership from working 18 years in Research and Development covering areas such as Electronic and Software within the Telecommunication sector. His latest assignment before joining Asetek was in Munich working as Software Development Director in a subsidiary of a large US based corporation. He has a long and extensive experience in establishing and managing Development and Project organisations in companies like Bosch Telecom, Agere Systems, Infinion Technologies, Texas Instruments but also experience from several small start-up companies. Ole has among others previous established a software company in Aalborg, Denmark for development of UMTS protocol stack software. During his career Ole has worked as Engineer, Project Manager and Product Manager and held executive positions as Senior Marketing Director, Managing Director and Software Development Director. Ole holds a B.Sc. Eng. from Aarhus Engineering College, Denmark and an MBA from Henley Management College in London besides that he has participated in various leadership training programs. | 
Peter Dam Madsen CFO | Peter joined Asetek from Martin Professional, Inc., where he first served as International Controller (1998-2000, DK) and later was promoted to Chief Financial Officer (2000-2006, US) responsible for all operational, administrative and financial areas for the US operation. Prior to joining Martin Professional 1998, Peter served as CFO of Dantax Radioindustri A/S (DK) listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Peter holds an MBA in International Business from Fort Lauderdale Metropolitan University as well as a Bachelors Degree in Financial Management from Aalborg University.
