'Cooling is essential, not only for overclocking, but also for all-round stability and extending the life of your expensive components. However, while there's been an increase in the popularity of specialist cooling products from names such as Danger Den and Alphacool, the award for best cooling hardware goes to the company that has delivered the highest quality cooling components to the mass market.'

BEST COOLING HARDWARE |
| 'Since CPC launched over a year ago, one manufacturer's cooling products have stood out time and time again. asetek has been right at the forefront of performance cooling with every new piece of kit, and, not content with being pigeonholed for making phase-change systems, it's also produced a plethora of high-performance and easily installed water-cooling kits too.
The excellent documentation, web support really gives asetek the edge over all the other nominees in this category, which is great for the masses of CPC readers who are enthusiastic about cooling but new to the field.
But this award isn't just down to the documentation, support and ease of use. What really brought the award home were asetek's massive product range, and the consistent quality and performance throughout. It goes all the way from simple one-block water kits to phase-change units, and even has the esoteric (and highly expensive) VapoChill Case Cooler in there too.
asetek hasn't rested on its laurels, and has consistently redeveloped its designs to become a real market leader. All we can hope for now is some healthy competition to push the cooling industry even further forward, as the recent demise of nVentiv has left asetek on its own at the phase-change end.'
