Asetek's low profile pump minimizes the height and weight of the cooling solution on CPU and GPU sockets, motherboards, and graphics cards. Low height improves access and airflow through the chassis and enables extreme performance dual-slot graphics cards. Light weight eliminates the risk of shock damage to motherboards that is inherent with high performance air coolers that rely on their large size and mass to cool CPUs. The smaller size (and new swiveling tubes) allows Asetek's low profile pump to be used in locations previously impossible with high performance air coolers, such as 1U servers, small form factor gaming chassis, and dual-slot graphics cards.
Integration of the pump and cold plate (water block) reduces connections and improves reliability. Close coupling of the pump and cold plate enables simultaneous optimization of these two critical components to provide the best possible performance. Additionally, the low profile pump delivers higher liquid flow and a two decibel reduction in noise.
A unique feature of Asetek's latest pump is the ability to add Liquid Temperature Fan Control and lighting effects. Liquid Temperature Fan Control eliminates sudden spikes in noise during short spikes in CPU or GPU use, resulting in a quieter computing experience. Housed under the pump's cap, Liquid Temperature Fan Control provides increased cooling when you need it, and a quiet system when you don’t. Lighting effects highlight the presence of liquid cooling through chassis windows and enable personalization to match chassis color schemes.
