Early Corsair Hydro Series H70 Reviews Are Positive

The successor to the wildly popular Corsair Hydro Series H50 CPU Cooler has arrived. Corsair and Asetek have again partnered to bring you the Hydro Series H70 High Performance CPU Cooler. It’s the perfect CPU cooler for those wanting the absolute best performance.

Here is a quick round up of the reviews we’ve seen so far:

First, let’s turn to MaximumPC.com who has the first review up on the web and gives the H70 their coveted “Kick Ass!” award:

“The Corsair H70, like the H50 before it, was designed in conjunction with Asetek, the all-in-one liquid-cooling OEM…The H70 brought full-burn temps down to 51 C—five to six degrees cooler than either. With the noise-regulating cables in place, temps were 2 C higher—still very impressive.”

Next, Hexus.net puts the H70 through its paces and puts it up against the already impressive performance of the H50. It achieves a Hexus Performance Award in the process:

“…Corsair came along with the Asetek-powered Hydro Series H50; a plug-and-play unit that proved liquid cooling can offer class-leading performance without breaking the bank… whilst a thicker radiator, an impressively-small pump and an extra fan are obvious enhancements to a winning formula, the end result is indisputable; the Hydro Series H70 is the best-performing CPU cooler we’ve ever tested.”

Finally, HardwareHeaven.com makes it clear that we have achieved our goal of setting new standards in high-performance, quiet CPU computing by giving the H70 their Gold, Performance, and Value awards while scoring a perfect 10 out of 10:

“After the very successful H50 Corsair were clearly aiming to take performance to another level with the H70 and they have very much succeeded. The H70 offers great build quality, an impressive design and unmatched performance; it really is in a class of its own.”

Clearly, the H70 has a lot to live up to thanks to the reputation the H50 has carved for itself. Based on the early round of reviews making their way around the web, the H70 is making quite the reputation of its own.
