HPCWire Selects Asetek’s André Eriksen for ‘People to Watch’ in 2014

Finalists are selected by an editorial and executive panel based upon merit with the support of leading thought leaders in the HPC community, many of whom have been honored as past recipients.

As the founder of Asetek, André has filled basically all positions in the company over the years and scaled from a young entrepreneur to an experienced and charismatic CEO and he is one out of a very few that has literally taken a company from the basement to the stock exchange.

André’s key skills include selling, strong business development, strategic business planning, engineering, manufacturing, fund raising, determination, execution and overall team motivation and management. André is also the main- as well as co-inventor on several patents.

Prior to founding Asetek, André was employed at Danfoss in their management trainee program. André has a practical education as a tool maker, and holds a mechanical engineering degree from Aalborg University. In addition he has completed several executive MBA-level programs at Stanford, MIT and Wharton within management, finance, strategy and entrepreneurship.
