Race driver Valdemar Eriksen explains why he uses simulators to practice

Asetek SimSports driver Valdemar Eriksen talks about how he uses sim racing as a training tool.

He has two primary purposes when training: The first is the competitive part, where he uses sim racing as a competition platform to race against other drivers. The second purpose is learning new tracks around the world.

Professional racing is an expensive sport – especially if you want to prepare on real-world racetracks. For many pro racers, that’s why sim racing can be used as an alternative instead of costly travels worldwide.
