How to find Serial Number and RaceHub Log Files

Updated on May 27, 2026

Serial Number

The serial number is a unique identifier assigned to an individual item/product. We use these for many internal reasons and for the point of view of the consumer, the purpose of this is for product identification, warranty cases & support. The Asetek serial number is based on 9 digits and starts with the letter “D” or “E”.

The serial number can be found in the following places:

  • Product box
  • Underneath the product
  • In the RaceHub software under “Settings” -> “Info”

Racehub Log Files

The information in the log file is useful for identifying and resolving issues that may not be visible to the naked eye, or to find the root cause of an issue. In most cases, the support team requires log files from a session where the issue at hand has occurred.

Below, you’ll find the guide on how to provide the support team with the necessary log files.

  1. Use the equipment as intended with RaceHub open and running in the background (which is always recommended). When the issue occurs the log file will register the event.
  2. Go back to RaceHub -> Settings
  3. Find the button “Zip Log Files” in the lower left corner.
  4. RaceHub has now merged all your recent logs into one zipped folder. A new window will appear on your screen where you are able to save it locally on your PC.
  5. Send the recently saved zipped folder to the Asetek support team through the “RMA/Warranty” ticket form
