What wheels are supported? We support all wheels with a 70mm or 50.8mm mounting pattern. To use the USB passthrough, the steering wheel must support regular USB 2.0 communication.
Which Asetek Wheelbases are supported? The Quick Release can be attached to all Asetek Wheelbases. However, the USB passthrough feature is not supported on Initium Wheelbase.
Must I use the USB-passthrough feature? No, you can also connect a “dumb” wheel (steering wheel without electronics) to our QR adapter or continue using the cable that was supplied with the wheel to connect the steering wheel directly to your PC.
Can the USB connector be changed to USB-C? We can only guarantee a stable connection through our own USB-A connector. Additional adapters are not officially supported. The cable itself cannot be changed.
Do I need additional mounting hardware for my wheel? We include mounting hardware in the box. But there might be certain wheels that require special mounting hardware, in this case please check with your wheel manufacturer.
Can I extend the Universal Quick Release Adapter with the available QR Adapter Tubes? No, this Universal QR Adapter is not compatible with the tubes.
