A: The Forte® GT Button Box is designed to give sim racers a highly customizable steering wheel setup. You can easily swap compatible wheel rims to suit different racing styles, including GT, touring, rally, and drifting.
Q: How many input options does the Forte® GT Button Box provide?
A: The Forte® GT Button Box offers up to 112 individual input options. Its buttons, encoders, switches, thumb wheels, and paddles can be mapped to functions such as DRS, brake bias, traction control, pit limiter, and windscreen wipers.
Q: Which wheel rims are compatible with the Forte® GT Button Box?
A: The button box is compatible with all Asetek Racing™ Wheel Rims designed for the Forte® and La Prima™ Button Boxes. Please note that it is compatible with complete wheel rims and not with separate Wheel Handles. Wheel rims are sold separately.
Q: Can additional paddles be added to the Forte® GT Button Box?
A: Yes. The Forte® GT Button Box includes two contactless magnetic shifter paddles and can be upgraded with two optional clutch paddles and two additional magnetic input paddles.
Q: Which wheelbases and platforms are compatible with the Forte® GT Button Box?
A: The Forte® GT Button Box is compatible with all Asetek Racing™ Wheelbases and supports PCs running Windows 10 or Windows 11. It works with racing games that accept direct input devices, including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, DiRT Rally, the F1 series, iRacing, Project CARS 2, and rFactor 2.
Q: Can the LEDs and controls be customized?
A: Yes. The Forte® GT Button Box features 32 programmable aRGB LEDs, including rev lights, flag lights, illuminated buttons, and backlit rotary switches. Through the software, you can customize the lighting as well as map buttons, switches, encoders, and paddles to your preferred racing functions.
