Q: What is the Initium™ line? A: Initium™ is our entry-level product line, designed to bring the Asetek Racing™ experience to a broader audience with high-quality, performance-focused gear at a more accessible price point.
Q: Is Initium™ just for beginners? A: Not at all. While it’s ideal for getting started, experienced sim racers can also use and benefit from Initium™ thanks to its performance, reliability, and Asetek™-quality feel.
Q: Can I mix Initium™ with La Prima™, Forte® or Invicta™ gear? A: All wheelbases are fully compatible with Initium™. La Prima™, Forte, and Invicta™ pedals, as well as La Prima™ and Forte® wheels without displays, work after a firmware update. Display-equipped wheels, like Forte® Formula Pro and Invicta™, work mechanically only and require a PC connection via coiled cable to use all features.
Q: Can I upgrade individual parts over time? A: While not all Initium™ products are upgradable, both pedals and wheelbase can be upgraded with upgrade kits bought separately, allowing you to improve your setup step by step.
Q: Is the performance good enough for competitive racing? A: Definitely. Initium™ is tuned for accuracy and consistency, making it suitable for serious racing. It may not have every pro feature, but it delivers where it counts.
