Asetek Racing Named Official Sponsor of iRacing’s Formula 1600 Rookie Series

Aalborg, Denmark, March 2, 2026 – Asetek Racing is pleased to announce that it is officially sponsoring iRacing’s Formula 1600 Rookie Series. 

The Formula 1600 series is recognised as a key starting point for aspiring open-wheel sim racers. As an official sponsor, the series will be rebranded as the Asetek Racing Formula 1600 Rookie Series, and those competing on iRacing will have the option to feature the Asetek Racing logo on any vehicle.

While all of Asetek Racing’s product lines are already fully compatible with iRacing, the sponsorship allows for an even closer collaboration between the two companies, when it comes to bringing Asetek Racing’s Invicta™, Forte®, La Prima™, and Initium™ product lines to the simracing community.

Additionally, Asetek Racing will be running iRacing on its rigs at all major trade shows, meaning fans of the popular online racing simulation can experience the thrill of real world racing on Asetek’s own rigs.
