Asetek Racing announces a global ambassador partnership with Pietro and Enzo Fittipaldi, the third generation of one of motorsport’s founding families

Aalborg, Denmark, August 25, 2026: Asetek Racing today announces a global ambassador partnership with Pietro Fittipaldi and Enzo Fittipaldi. The brothers compete at the front of prototype and open-wheel racing on both sides of the Atlantic, and carry a name that has been part of the sport’s record books for more than fifty years.

Asetek Racing builds for the sim racer who wants the most realistic feeling available at home, engineered and finished to a Danish standard. Drivers who spend their working lives at the limit in a real car are the clearest confirmation that the standard is met. Pietro and Enzo Fittipaldi chose Asetek Racing for their own practice, on the same basis as any other driver who wants the best available equipment.

Two careers, one discipline

Pietro Fittipaldi, 29, is a former Formula 1 race driver with Haas, a former INDYCAR competitor and an FIA Platinum-rated prototype driver. In 2026 he contests the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in LMP2 with Pratt Miller Motorsports and the European Le Mans Series with Vector Sport, alongside a development and simulator role in Formula 1 with Cadillac.

Enzo Fittipaldi, 24, is a former Italian Formula 4 champion and Formula Regional European vice champion from the Ferrari Driver Academy, a two-time Formula 2 race winner with thirteen podiums, and a Red Bull athlete. After a season in the European Le Mans Series he moved to North America for 2026, contesting INDY NXT by Firestone with HMD Motorsports. He currently leads the championship with four wins this season, with three races remaining.

Both are grandsons of Emerson Fittipaldi, twice a Formula 1 world champion and twice a winner of the Indianapolis 500.

Performance. Precision. Passion.

Three words define Asetek Racing, and they are the reason this partnership takes the form it does.

Performance, because racing is in the company’s DNA. Asetek exists because its founder wanted to win. André Eriksen discovered at university that overclocking his CPU with better cooling made him faster in a motocross game, and the seed of a business was planted. That attitude still governs the product, because a responsive wheelbase and a strong brake pedal make a driver faster in the sim just as they do in the car. When two drivers competing in LMP2 and INDY NXT select that equipment for their own preparation, it is the clearest endorsement the work can receive.

Precision, because the move from liquid cooling to sim racing is a shorter step than it appears. Asetek built its reputation on mechatronics, the integration of mechanics, hardware and software, which is precisely what sim racing equipment consists of. Alongside that engineering capability sits a manufacturing record of more than ten million liquid coolers produced and sold, and real-world racing experience inside the company itself.

Passion, because Asetek Racing began as a father’s project. André Eriksen carried his own passion for racing from go-karting into formula racing, then passed it to his son Valdemar, who now races GT3 and LMP3. Wanting to build him a practice simulator, André found a category with evident room for improvement, and Asetek Racing followed. A partnership with the third generation of a racing family is, in that light, a natural one.

“Asetek Racing exists because I wanted a proper simulator at home, and found that what I wanted did not exist. That is who we build for: the sim racer who wants the real thing in their own rig. Pietro and Enzo came to us for exactly the same reason, and that is the part I am proud of. They have driven everything, and they chose this,” said André Sloth Eriksen, founder and CEO of Asetek.

“Preparation only counts if the equipment is honest. We looked at what was available and made a decision on merit. The rig we practice on is the same hardware anyone can put in their own room, and that says something,” said Pietro Fittipaldi.

“I came to a new championship this year with circuits I had never driven. You want the equipment you prepare on to behave like the car, without qualification. That was the requirement, and Asetek Racing met it,” said Enzo Fittipaldi.

The partnership

Asetek Racing supplies both drivers with the equipment they practice on, specified by the brothers themselves to suit how each of them prepares. Asetek Racing will be represented across the brothers’ racing season, and more prominently still across their digital presence, through social media, YouTube and live streams.

About Asetek Racing

Asetek is a global leader in mechatronic innovation and a Danish garage-to-stock-exchange success story. The journey began in 2000, when the company disrupted the PC cooling market with its all-in-one liquid cooler and set new standards for performance and efficiency. In 2021 Asetek entered sim racing as Asetek Racing, transforming the category with the state-of-the-art hydraulic Invicta pedals. Asetek Racing today offers an extensive range across four product lines, Invicta, Forte, La Prima and Initium, covering wheels, wheelbases and pedals for every sim racer. Every Asetek Racing product runs on RaceHub, the brand’s calibration and customization software. Asetek is headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark.
