Automobilista 2: RaceHub™ and Game Setup

Asetek Racing™

This guide walks you through configuring your Asetek Racing wheelbase, pedals, and steering wheel for Automobilista 2. You’ll set the recommended force feedback settings in RaceHub and in-game, enable telemetry, so the LED and RaceView features work, and assign your controls — everything needed to get the most out of Reiza Studios game.

  1. Launch Automobilista 2.
  2. From the main menu, navigate to “Options” -> “Controls” -> “Force Feedback”
  3. Here, insert the values below.

While these presets and settings are a great starting point, adjusting and tweaking the settings to your personal preference can make a big difference and is exactly what RaceHub is for.

Telemetry for RaceHub LED and RaceView features

This part of the guide will set up RaceHub to correctly receive data from your game and enable the LED features, as well as RaceView on the Invicta and Forte Formula Pro wheels. It is recommended that you start the game and close it again before continuing.

  1. Open RaceHub.
  2. Go to “Settings” -> “Game Setup” and find Automobilista 2 on the list.
  3. Click the + icon if the game hasn’t been detected yet.
  4. Return to the Steering Wheel page in RaceHub, select the rotary encoders on the wheel, and change the input mode to incremental. (Automobilista 2 can’t handle position-based rotary encoders)
  5. Return to Automobilista 2  From the main menu, navigate to “Options” -> “System”  and set Shared Memory to Project CARS 2.

Now RaceHub will receive the game data to display the LED and RaceView features. Remember to go to the “LED” and “Display” menus in RaceHub to set up the specific features.

Setting up your controls

Now, all you need to do is assign your controls in-game. As this is a personal preference, we won’t go too much into detail here, except for how it is done.

  1. Launch Automobilista 2.
  2. Navigate to “Options” -> “Controls”  -> “Edit Assignment”

Here you will find multiple categories of controls, from motion to game. Simply go through each of them and set them up one by one.

  1. Click the control you want to set up.
  2. Use the input you wish to assign (push the pedal/click the button).

Now that you have set up the force feedback, enabled the telemetry, and assigned your controls, you are ready to hit the track. Happy racing!
