Previously, connecting a specific steering wheel to the Asetek SimSports Direct Drive Wheelbase was a non-starter. But with our Invicta Quick Release Adapter Kit, that’s no longer the case. Compatibility issue? Consider it handled.
We aspire to be a game-changer in sim racing by supporting our users in their mission for performance and the most authentic experience – and by introducing this product to the market, we believe we have taken a major step towards achieving this goal and towards bringing the sim racing industry into a new era.
In basic terms, the Invicta Quick Release Adapter makes it possible to mount any steering wheel with a standard hole pattern on your Asetek SimSports Wheelbase.
We’ve also partnered with some of the best wheel manufacturers in sim racing. That means you will be able to buy one of their wheels with our quick release fitted right from their factory! This option allows you to have the smoothest and most flexible experience straight out of the box when switching between your favorite wheels – whether the wheels are powered or not.
The only difference between buying it as a separate item or as integrated with a partner wheel will be that the separate Invicta Quick Release can be mounted with optional power and data. The integrated Invicta Quick Release will be offered as a pre-installed item with integrated electronics, which can be purchased directly from our partner-wheel manufacturers.

*The Invicta Quick Release Adapter Kit has a built-in safety release at 500N with a 320mm steering wheel, meaning there is no chance of accidentally disconnecting the wheel. It also provides safety release if something should go wrong.
