Back to blog
F1® 25 is back, and so are our recommended Wheelbase settings.
The force feedback has been updated in this iteration, so it’s only fitting that we also update our guide.
As always, remember that our settings work well as a starting point, but you can always tweak them to fit your preferences.
Let’s start out with RaceHub.
Steering range: 360
(Preferrable to have this setting match the game)
Bumpstop Hardness: medium
Bumpstop Range: 0
High Frequency Limit: No Limit
Damping, Friction, Inertia and Cornering Force assist: 0%

La Prima: 12nm
Torque Behavior prediction: Off
Torque Acceleration Limit (Slew Rate): Max
Anti-Oscillation: 0%

(As mentioned earlier in the guide, F1 25 already has a natural amount of damping)

F1 25 is more than just visuals and licensed liveries – it’s built to deliver realistic car handling and track feedback, especially when using a direct drive wheelbase. The game communicates subtle details through the steering column: tire slip, kerb vibrations, traction loss, and aero shifts at high speed.
With a properly tuned wheelbase, you won’t just see understeer – you’ll feel it the moment it begins. That’s a major advantage whether you’re chasing lap times in Time Trial mode or managing tire wear in Career.
Your wheelbase is the core of your sim racing setup – especially in a game like F1 25, where precise inputs and high-fidelity feedback are essential. Whether you’re racing with assists on or gunning for esports-level realism, a responsive, high-quality wheelbase gives you more control, consistency, and confidence.
