Asetek is pleased to announce that it has secured orders for PC graphics cooling products, expected to drive revenue of more than USD 1.0 million in 2013. The news builds on the success of recent innovative and compelling graphics products from Arctic, Asus and PNY.
Under these orders, Asetek will ship more volume than the total of all previous graphics products combined. Shipments are scheduled to start in Q3 and end in early Q4 as the customer has requested to take the entire volume for the project up front. Factory filled and sealed for maximum reliability and ease-of-use, Asetek’s patented liquid coolers have been thoroughly tested and certified to operate without maintenance for over 50,000 hours.
“We have been cooling graphics cards for more than ten years, however, this order takes Asetek’s position in the GPU-cooling market in an exciting direction. Asetek will be working directly with a graphics card manufacturer who will ship graphics cards with factory integrated Asetek coolers. I am happy to see that our long term commitment to this market is paying off and I believe there are significant business opportunities for us in this segment going forward”, says Andre Eriksen, CEO of Asetek”
