Sim Racing Ergonomics: How To Correctly Place Your Steering Wheel

In this video, Christian Damm will give you a short introduction on how to adjust your sim racing steering wheel according to the seating position in the rig.

Christian has been in motorsports for more than five years. Among others, he was with Ferrari as a part of their Engineering Academy in their ERS (Energy Recovery System) department for the Ferrari F1 team.

The most important aspect is that you’re not straining your wrists, elbows, or shoulders when racing. Of course, your racing position is a subjective matter, but these guidelines can help you find the best solution, where both comfort and proper racing ergonomics are considered – regardless of the setup or rig you have at home.
