Better Ergonomics in a Racing Simulator

In this video, Christian Damm, formerly a part of the Ferrari Engineering Academy program with the Ferrari F1 team, explains why ergonomics is such an important aspect of sim racing.

Both in real-life racing and in sim racing. If you want to perform to your full potential, you’ll have to make appropriate adjustments in your sim racing setup. If you want to properly simulate real racing, you have to account for many factors: The angle of your arms, the distance to your screens, and the tilt of the seat.

Don’t be afraid to question your current sim racing setup if you don’t know how it affects your performance in the car. There are a lot of different parameters to adjust!
